Connect Claude or another AI agent to your Renable account

Let Claude, or another AI agent that supports MCP, look at your catalogs, rules, products and channels as you. You allow it once, and you can disconnect it at any time from Connected agents.

Updated November 4, 2026

You can connect Claude, or another AI agent that supports the Model Context Protocol (MCP), to your Renable account. The agent can then look at your catalogs, rules, products and channels for you, and check what a catalog's Rules do to a product and what a channel sends for it. You can ask it about them from wherever you already use it.

What a connected agent can do#

  • It acts as you. It sees what you can see in Renable, in every organization you're a member of, and in any organization you join later. If you leave an organization, the agent loses access to it at the same moment you do.
  • It never sees your passwords or keys. Where Renable stores a password, an access token or an API key, for example for a password-protected Product feed or a review provider, the agent only sees that one is set.
  • It belongs to you, not to your organization. Your teammates don't see your connected agents, and connecting one changes nothing for them.
  • Today it reads, and changes nothing. A connected agent can look things up and explain them; it can't edit a catalog, a rule or a channel.
  • You stay in control. Nothing is connected until you click Allow, and you can disconnect an agent at any time.

Connect Claude#

Renable's address for agents is:

https://api.renable.com/mcp

Claude on the web or in the desktop app:

  1. Open Claude's settings and go to Connectors.
  2. Choose to add a custom connector, and paste the address above.
  3. Claude opens Renable in your browser. Sign in if you're asked to.
  4. Check what Renable shows you, then click Allow. You're sent back to Claude, and the connector is ready.

Claude renames these menus from time to time; look for the connectors or integrations settings.

Claude Code: run this in your terminal, then follow the sign-in Claude Code starts:

claude mcp add --transport http renable https://api.renable.com/mcp

Other agents: add a remote MCP server with the address above. The agent signs you in the same way.

What Renable shows you before you allow#

  • The agent's name, and who published it. "Published by claude.ai" means Renable checked the agent's description at that address. An agent that registered itself has a name Renable couldn't check, so only allow it if you trust where you got it from.
  • Your organizations. The agent will work in all of them.
  • Where you're sent next. If the agent runs on your own computer, Renable says so and asks you to allow it only if you started connecting it yourself just now.

If the page says the request has expired or was already answered, go back to your agent and start connecting again. A request waits for ten minutes.

See and disconnect your agents#

Open your account menu (the round button at the far right of the top bar) and choose Connected agents. Each card shows the agent, who published it, when you connected it and when it was last used.

To remove one, click Disconnect and confirm. The agent loses access to your account straight away, in every organization. If you use it again later, it asks you to sign in and allow it again.

Connecting an agent again replaces its earlier connection, so each agent is listed once. Claude on the web, in the desktop app and on your phone counts as one agent. If you use Claude Code on two computers, connecting it on the second one disconnects the first; Claude Code asks you to sign in again the next time you use it there.
