Renable Options Policy

Last updated: August 17, 2026

Renable Options is a Chrome browser extension made by Renable Marketing AB. It has one purpose: inside Meta Ads Manager's ad editor, it shows which Renable ad design a catalog ad is running and lets you switch it to another design from the same feed. This page explains exactly what data the extension touches. Renable's general handling of personal data is covered by our Privacy Policy.

What the extension reads

When you open a catalog ad in Meta Ads Manager's ad editor, the extension reads the ad identifier and the ad account identifier from the page address. That is all it reads. It does not read the page's content, your browsing history, your Facebook login or session, or anything on any other website.

What the extension sends

The two identifiers are sent to Renable's own API — the only server the extension talks to — to answer one question: which of your Renable designs does this ad run, and which others are available. If you choose to switch a design, that request is sent the same way. Nothing is sent to anyone other than Renable, and nothing is sent at all unless you have signed in to your Renable account.

What the extension stores on your device

  • Your Renable session — created when you sign in via the Renable website, kept in the extension's own local storage so you stay signed in between browser sessions, and removed when you sign out or the session expires.

  • Design preview images — small cached copies of your own ad designs, so previews load instantly. The cache is cleared when you sign out.

Anonymous technical telemetry

Meta changes Ads Manager's layout without notice. So that we can detect when the extension stops finding its place on the page, it reports anonymous technical events to Renable — the event name and the shape of the page path with every identifier removed. These reports carry no account data, no ad data, and nothing that identifies you.

What we never do

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not track your browsing. The extension's data handling exists solely to provide the feature described above.

Renable Options’ use of information received from Chrome APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
