PriceRunnerPriceRunner listings that don’t cost extra per click

PriceRunner never rejects an offer. It bills you. A product it has to match by hand costs an extra £0.06 on every click, as of mid-2026. Renable writes the feed in PriceRunner’s own columns, fills EAN, brand, image and a 30-word description on every product, and shows you what is still unmatched before it costs money.

A listing is a row: your name, your price, your delivery. The feed decides whether it matches, and matching decides what a click costs.

The fee

What PriceRunner charges to work out on its own

PriceRunner matches your offer to its product pages by barcode. When the barcode is missing, or the brand, the image or the description, someone at PriceRunner matches it by hand. That product then costs £0.06 more per click for as long as it stays unmatched, as of mid-2026.

The coverage panel on the channel counts those products before you send PriceRunner the feed. The EAN usually sits in a supplier file, and Aimée pulls it in from there.

The feed

Written the way PriceRunner reads it

PriceRunner has its own column names and its own file. Renable writes ProductId, ProductName and the rest as tab-separated text, with the price you charge including VAT in the one Price column, and a description cut to PriceRunner’s 30 words.

One price, the one you charge

There is no sale price column. Price is what the shopper pays, VAT included, so a discounted product is listed at its discounted price.

Stock as PriceRunner reads it

In stock, out of stock, Yes, No, preorder, backorder, collect in store, or a plain count. “Few” and “N/A” are not read. A rule maps yours.

Thirty words, then a cut

PriceRunner truncates a long description instead of dropping the offer. Renable binds a short AI description so the cut never lands mid-sentence.

Keep the SKU and the feed address stable

PriceRunner keys click history to your product id. Change a SKU, on a platform move for example, and that product starts from zero. It also warns that a feed address which changes, say with a timestamp in it, makes products disappear. Renable hosts your feed at one fixed address and keeps the id you map, so neither happens by accident.

Why is PriceRunner matching my products by hand?

PriceRunner does not tell you which products it matched by hand. It just bills the clicks. Renable checks the feed before it goes out, names the products, and Aimée drafts the fix. You review it and publish.

No EAN on the product
The barcode is the match key. Without it the offer waits for a person, and every click on it carries the fee. Most stores have the EAN in a supplier file.
30 products
A stock value PriceRunner does not read
Your store says “Few” when stock runs low. PriceRunner reads counts and in stock or out of stock, so “Few” is a blank to it.
38 products
No description at all
An empty description is one of the four things PriceRunner matches by hand. Aimée writes one from the product’s own facts, inside the 30 words.
An image address that keeps changing
A timestamp in the image URL reads as a new image every fetch. Renable serves the product photo from one fixed address.
Some “StockStatus” values don’t meet PriceRunner’s requirements
38 of 842 products in “PriceRunner” have a “StockStatus” value PriceRunner doesn’t accept, e.g. “Few”. Accepted values: in stock, out of stock, Yes, No, preorder, backorder, collect_in_store, or a number.

Aimée

Why do 38 products fail the stock check?

Your feed writes stock as a count, and “Few” for anything under five. PriceRunner reads counts, but not “Few”, so those 38 go out with no stock status. I’ve drafted a rule that turns Few into in stock on this channel. And 30 products have no EAN in your feed, but your supplier file has them, so I’ve bound Ean to that as a fallback.

SetupIn PriceRunner’s columns, from the feed you have

Paste your feed and Aimée builds the PriceRunner channel: their column names, tab-separated text, the price you charge, a short description on every product, and the EAN filled from wherever you keep it. She shows you the coverage before anything goes out. Everything lands as a draft you review.

Getting listed is a conversation with PriceRunner’s retail team, not a form. Listing is possible without paying, and PriceRunner says its paying stores get almost all of the traffic from shoppers ready to buy. Markets are the UK, Sweden and Denmark. Norway is not one.

PriceRunner, answered

What is the manual matching fee?
When an offer lacks the data PriceRunner matches on, the EAN above all, someone at PriceRunner matches it by hand and the offer costs an extra £0.06 per click, as of mid-2026. Nothing is rejected. It just costs more until the data is there. Renable’s coverage panel shows which products would fall into that before you list.
Does PriceRunner cover Norway?
No. PriceRunner lists in the UK, Sweden and Denmark. There is no pricerunner.no. For Norway, see Prisjakt.
How do sale prices work?
PriceRunner has one Price column, the price the shopper pays including VAT. There is no separate sale price. Renable binds the price you actually charge, so a product on sale is listed at its sale price. Binding the regular price instead would list you above what you charge.
How often does PriceRunner read the feed?
One to four times a day, on a schedule you can ask PriceRunner to set, and on demand if you ask them. A new product can take up to 24 hours to appear, longer in a brand-new category. Renable keeps the feed current at one fixed address, and a gzip-compressed file is welcome.
Can I send my Google XML feed?
Not the one Renable writes for Google. PriceRunner’s XML is its own document shape, so Renable writes PriceRunner’s feed as tab-separated text, with CSV and JSON as options. The mapping is done for you either way.
What does Renable cost for this?
Renable is priced per feed item, per market, across every channel you run. There is no per-channel fee. Start with 30 free days on the 500-feed-item plan. See pricing for the full ladder.
