Switch from ConfectKeep the look. Fix what’s underneath

Confect makes catalog ads look great and stops there. It does not touch your product feed and it writes no text. Give Aimée the feed Confect publishes to Meta and the feed your store exports. She drafts Studio templates that match your designs, the feed rules Confect never had, and the copy. You compare the rendered ads on real products and move a channel when the look matches.

We’re moving off Confect. Store feed: sportgear.com/feeds/products.xml. The Meta feed Confect publishes: feeds.confect.io/sportgear/meta.xml

Read both feeds

Same products on both sides. Confect adds three looks: evergreen, a sale variant with a badge, and a story shape.

The designs were never the problem

Confect users rarely complain about the designs. They complain about everything the designs sit on. The feed underneath stays as broken as it was, because Confect says plainly that it does not touch your product feed. Titles and copy still get written by hand, because Confect generates no text. And the reviews your customers trust never reach the ad.

So the creative tool quietly needs a second tool, or a freelancer, for the data and the words. Renable does all three, at one price.

Your Confect setup, piece by piece

Almost everything you built in Confect has a direct home in Renable, and most of it comes across as drafts without you rebuilding it. Here is where each piece lands, in Confect’s own words on the left.

Three rows are new. Feed rules and mapping, which Confect deliberately leaves out. AI copy and titles, which Confect never writes. And review quotes from Trustpilot, Bazaarvoice, Yotpo or TestFreaks, rendered into the ad instead of a static badge.

Simplified. Aimée drafts the top rows from your two feeds.

Three steps, and Confect keeps serving until you say

The feed Confect publishes to Meta already carries every rendered design. That is where the switch starts.

1

Point Aimée at both feeds

The feed your store exports and the feed Confect publishes to Meta. She reads the ad images in it and drafts Studio templates with the same fonts, colors, layout and badges, in every size Meta and TikTok take.
2

Compare the rendered ads

Open any product and see the Renable render, then hold it against the Confect ad. Adjust a layer, swap a font, and every product re-renders. Nothing goes to Meta until you publish.
3

Move Meta, then TikTok

Confect keeps serving your catalogs until you paste the Renable feed URL into Commerce Manager. Move Meta when the look matches, TikTok when its preview does. No gap.

Two things to check before you move

First, the count. Confect counts parent products, so a style in five sizes is one product. Renable counts the feed items your rules keep, so that same style is five feed items unless a rule says otherwise. Most shops filter or group to the level they advertise at. A group rule collapses a style to its master or its cheapest variant and carries the aggregate fields onto it, “from $19.99”, “8 colors”, so the ad still speaks for the whole style and the style is one feed item on your bill. A very variant-heavy catalog that neither filters nor groups can land on a higher Renable plan than Confect’s parent-counted price. Run the numbers with your real count on the pricing page.

Second, design analytics. Confect tags the elements in your designs and correlates them with results. Renable has no equivalent. What it has instead is a real test: duplicate the ad set, pin a different design to each one’s ad from the Renable Options panel in Meta Ads Manager, and let Meta’s A/B test decide. Results live in Ads Manager.

Priced at the same unit count

Compared at equal unit counts, Renable lists lower at every step of Confect’s ladder, and the price includes the feed, copy and review layers Confect does not sell at any price.

Markets add up the same way on both sides. 3,000 feed items in 3 markets is 9,000 units, which is $449/mo on Renable and Confect Pro at $499/mo. Both offer 20% off annual billing. The Renable number also buys feed management, AI copy, review quotes and a Google Shopping feed, none of which are on Confect’s menu.

Switching from Confect, answered

Will my ads look as good as they do in Confect?
That is the bar. Aimée drafts the templates from the ad images in the feed Confect publishes, with your fonts, colors, layouts and badges. You compare the rendered ads on real products before anything goes live, and adjust any layer in Studio. Nothing moves until you publish.
Do my ads go down during the switch?
No. Confect keeps serving your Meta and TikTok catalogs until you paste the Renable feed URL into Commerce Manager, one channel at a time. Renable renders beside it the whole time.
How does Renable’s counting compare to Confect’s?
Confect counts parent products with sizes collapsed. Renable counts the feed items it processes after your rules run. Variants count, but feed items your rules filter out never bill, and a group rule collapses a style to one feed item while the ad still speaks for the whole style. Compare at the count you actually advertise at.
Does Renable have Confect’s design A/B testing?
The test, yes. The analytics, no. On both tools you duplicate the ad set, pick a different design in each one’s ad, and run Meta’s A/B test. With Renable Options, in early access, the picking is two clicks per ad: pin a design by name and Meta keeps choosing the shape that fits the placement. Results live in Ads Manager. Confect’s element-level design analytics has no Renable equivalent.
Can I finally cover Google with this switch?
Yes. Confect cannot design Google Shopping ads, since Google does not allow designed creative there. Renable builds the Google Shopping feed itself, with clean titles, approved images and the fields Google’s AI surfaces read, beside your Meta and TikTok creative.
Does Renable do product-level video too?
Yes. A video for every product, rendered from a template you control, for Meta and TikTok. It is on every Renable plan. Confect lists video on Pro and Global.
